Inclement Weather Is No Match for the Upcoming Collaboration From Packer Shoes, ASICS Tiger & New Era
The “Scary Cold” collection references 90’s classic sitcom ‘Seinfeld.’

As the weather continues to be unpredictable, you’ll always need something to keep you warm and protect you from the precipitation. To pay respect to GORE-TEX, Packer Shoes has joined forces with ASICS Tiger as well as New Era for a special offering dubbed “Scary Cold.” Within the range you’ll find the GEL-Lyte V GTX silhouette with a winterized twist. Rusty tan suede and premium black leather can be found throughout the upper in addition to inclement weather updates such as its metal D-ring lace holes, plus a ballistic mesh liner behind its medial logo stripes — all referencing NYC neurotic George Costanza’s memorable appearance in “The Dinner Party” episode of Seinfeld.
Its New Era portion includes two GORE-TEX fitted hats with one featuring the GORE-TEX logo in gold while the other is the iconic New York Yankees cap; both retail for $60 USD.
Launching on January 28 online and in-store at both Packer locations, the ACISC GEL-Lyte V GTX “Scary Cold” will retail for $170 USD.
