Lil Tracy Drops Jittery Video for Lil Peep-Referencing "demons"
“When I die bury me with all my ice on.”
Having featured last year alongside Gab3 on fellow GothBoiClique member Mackned‘s Hollywood Dropout album, Lil Tracy has now started 2018 as he means to continue. Dropping visuals for the marvyayy-produced track “demons,” Tracy serves up characteristically auto-tuned vocals alongside a low-key trap-infused beat with a more optimistic tone that fans may necessarily have been expecting.
But, while the music maybe somewhat unfamiliar, the disorienting movement of the camera and semi-DIY aesthetic of the video as a whole nod heavily to Lil Tracy’s previous work and lyrics — including “when I die bury me with all my ice on,” originally from “WitchBlades” — also pay tribute to his friend and frequent collaborator Lil Peep, following his tragic death at the end of 2017.
