But with that said, the top-100 player was recently in the news for a very HYPEBEAST comment. “Asia’s John Daly,” as the American press affectionately calls him, revealed to Tim Rosaforte after his day one performance at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship this week that he’s basically playing the sport to bankroll his sneaker, Ferrari and wristwatch obsessions. “I’m a big fan of Yeezys. I think I have more than 15. And overall, with NMDS, I have more than 40 pairs.”
The Thailand-born player may not be dominating his sport, but the 27-year-old has become one of the more lovable personalities in golf, and with quotes like this, his following will only continue to grow.
