D.TT.K's 2017 Fall/Winter Collection Makes Common Streetwear Trends Interesting Again
An eccentric mix of sportswear, utility wear and futurism.

Founded by two Japanese street artists, D.TT.K is a menswear label that has steadily turned the heads of many for its neo-sports ’90s look. For its Fall/Winter 2017 collection, the Tokyo-based label took the hardest-hitting streetwear trends of right now, combined them and turned the magnitude up. Common influences such as sportswear, utility wear, and this season’s seeming fascination with science-fiction all appear in the collection, yet D.TT.K still manages to deliver original designs with unique styling. Traditional streetwear garments given the brand’s avant-garde edge include denim jeans with back pocket detailing and paneling in the front, Champion tracksuits given an expressionist white paint treatment, a navy tracksuit embellished with elaborate zipper details, and a clear PVC bomber jacket. Enormous parka coats, a denim poncho and a jersey zip-up hoodie featuring dissecting zipper cut-outs all take left-field aesthetics to a whole new level.
