Alexander McQueen Unveils a Regal Lookbook for Its 2017 Fall/Winter Menswear
Embroidered pieces fit for a king.

Alexander McQueen’s latest collection for the warm seasons brought forth casual eveningwear, whereas the new range employs more fanciful pieces fit for a king. Heavily inspired by the works of 19th century Irish scholar and novelist, Oscar Wilde, creative director Sarah Burton predominantly embellishes the 2017 fall/winter range with an array of exceptionally tailored outerwear. Embroidered capes and longcoats, as well as waistcoats, were paired with military uniform trousers and aptly topped off with crystal-emblazoned dress shoes. Standout items consist of the golden peacock-embroidered evening cape, double-breasted overcoats decorated with sewn peacock feathers, and a royal blue frock coat.
