The Mid-Century Modern-Styled Arlo NoMad Hotel Opens in New York
The hotel’s second branch in the city.

Known for creating spaciousness out of smaller spaces, Arlo Hotels has opened its latest branch, named Arlo NoMad, in New York. It teamed up with design studio Avroko to create a hotel with 250 rooms, all designed to the mid-century aesthetic. In terms of amenities there’s everything a traveller in 2017 would expect – free wifi, 42-inch TV and a rainforest shower.
This opening comes just a month after the launch of the hotel chain’s Hudson Square branch. The space has an Italian-inspired restaurant that’s helmed by chef Dale Talde, as well as business partners David Massoni and John Bush, who also look after local establishments Talde, Thistle Hill Tavern and Pork Slope. There’s also a library area for co-working, a rooftop cocktail bar and an in-house bodega that’s open 24 hours a day. You can book a room at the Arlo NoMad by visiting its website.
