A Closer Look at the UNDEFEATED x adidas Consortium Busenitz
Bringing muted, earthy tones to the skatepark.
Los Angeles-native boutique UNDEFEATED, upon teasing their latest collaboration with adidas, set the sneaker scene on fire with these partnered Busenitz skate shoes under the prestigious Consortium moniker. The color palette, which adopts the ever popular trend of muted, earthy colors and hues, splashes the classic low-top with a “Dune” upper mixed with suede, premium leather and ballistic nylon, while the outsole is set in a matching toned rubber. The signature “cut along the dotted line” Busenitz light tongue is kept in tact, while gold foil branded accents, Consortium-branded sock liner, and a subtle desert camo pattern–that is kept to a minimum within the medial stripes and inner tongue–give the skate shoes a bit of definition for the project. As a result, the clay/beige/sand tone plays well with an aggressive sneaker for a classic look that’s fitting for both on and off skate decks.
The UNDEFEATED x adidas Consortium Busenitz are available now for a limited time at all UNDEFEATED stores and online, with a global release set for September 16.
