Takashi Murakami Designs Custom LV "Monogramouflage" Vans Slip-Ons
Reviving the collaborative print for his upcoming gallery opening.
Ahead of his “Learning the Magic of Painting” exhibition at Galerie Perrotin in Paris, Takashi Murakami took to Instagram to show off his custom-made Vans Slip-Ons. Bedecked in a green camouflage canvas with Louis Vuitton print, the design harkens back to Murakami’s “Monogramouflauge” collection made through his longstanding collaboration with the luxury brand. While the partnership ended after more than a decade, Murakami keeps the spirit of groundbreaking association alive with exclusive Slip-Ons, complete with a matching camo-themed outfit seen below.
