Last week, Lady Gaga sat down with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 radio show to reveal that that her fifth studio album is called Joanne and would be dropping on October 21. Now, the always evolving pop star has cemented her latest creative era and image with a supercharged visual for lead single “Perfect Illusion.” Directed by Ruth Hogben and Andrea Galardin of Lobster Eye, the clip intersperses shots of Gaga speeding through the desert amongst frenetic glimpses of a wild makeshift concert alongside Kevin Parker, Bloodpop (formerly known as Blood Diamonds) and Mark Ronson, who all had a hand in producing the track.
