Clive Owen Returns as the "Driver" in BMW's New Film Series

BMW reintroduces its film series for a new generation with The Escape. The commissioned film series began in 2001 with The Hire which was a collection of eight short films that exhibited Clive Owen as the “Driver” character showing off his driving prowess during hired transport jobs. This time around, Clive Owen returns to the role and is accompanied by a stellar cast including the likes of Jon Bernthal of Netflix’s Daredevil, Dakota Fanning and Vera Farmiga in addition to a collection of BMW’s latest automotive offerings. The inaugural short film from the new series is directed by Neill Bomkamp of District 9 fame and will debut October 23. In the meantime, watch the sneak peek above.
