Instagram Finally Rolls out a “Save Draft” Feature
Now available to all users.

Following tests earlier this year, Instagram’s “Save Draft” feature is now live. The update allows users to start a post, save a copy of it, and revisit it at a later date before posting. The option is triggered by pressing the “Back” button in the app, a function that previously discarded edits. Tapping the Camera icon at the bottom of the screen, then tapping “Library” will show works in progress at the bottom, below the title “Drafts.” News of a “Save Draft” feature started circulating in July, when the company made it available only to a small group of users in order to run A/B tests. The experimentation stage has happily ended as the update is available to all on Instagram’s iOS and Android applications.
