The SKATE NYC x HUF 2016 Fall/Winter Collection Sees Striking Graphics
Paying homage to the Big Apple’s ’80s and ’90s skate culture.

New York City’s skate culture in the ’80s and ’90s saw riders shredding the graffiti-ridden streets of Ed Koch’s Manhattan. Harold Hunter and HUF-founder Keith Hufnagel were amongst the most influential skateboarders at the time. All kinds of riders including the two aforesaid legends would flock to the iconic SKATE NYC shop conjured by Steve Sas Schwartz and Thomas Keiji Agawa. With that being said, it would make sense that the acclaimed skate wear brand HUF would team up with SKATE NYC on a limited edition collection this fall, although it may be long overdue. The eclectic range sees a covey of soft goods including long-sleeve T-shirts, hoodies and headwear. Not to mention, old-school skateboard decks and rails are thrown in the mix as well.
