Google Wants You to "Shop the Look" Directly From Its Search Engine
Just in time for NYFW.

Last week, Google announced its New York Fashion Week initiatives and partnerships which enables people to explore the world of fashion and shop products directly from curated, inspirational images on Google.com. This week, the Alphabet brand reveals a new apparel and home decor experience dubbed “Shop the Look.” It’s simple: the new program will allow users to search for specific outfits and receive photos as well as purchase links right within the results page. Google will be partnering with LIKEtoKNOW.it., Polyvore and Curalate to deliver images from a network of brands, bloggers, retailers and publishers.
Currently testing in the States, Shop the Look is part of an ongoing push to make Google’s search engine more powerful and useful as apps and social media platforms continue to take away from the brand’s influence.
