Watch The Trailer for Banksy's Upcoming Documentary, "Saving Banksy"
A first look at the upcoming documentary on the renowned artist.
Last week, rumors began to swirl when investigative journalist Craig Williams made a claim that Massive Attack’s frontman Robert ’3D’ Del Naja, was the renowned graffiti artist after an investigation. While details on that are still uncertain, here’s an exclusive first look at the upcoming documentary Saving Banksy. The Colin Day directed documentary is said to tell the story of one misguided art collector’s attempt to save a Banksy piece from destruction and the auction block. Though his work is deemed illegal by authorities, Banksy’s works have been removed by art dealers and re-sold at auctions for hundreds of thousands of dollars, while the artist himself receives nothing. The film will also feature interviews with renowned street artists from all across the globe including Ben Eine, Risk, Revok, Niels Mueman, Blek Le Rat, Anthony Lister, Doze Green, Hera and Glen E Friedman. Watch above, while more details on the documentary can be found here.
