Virtual Reality Inspires Christian Zanzotti's Razor-Sharp Digimoto Bike
The German designer’s futuristic project could shake up the auto industry.
German industrial designer Christian Zanzotti has created a striking motorbike concept with virtual reality at the centre of its construction. Zanzotti – working alongside project partners GRAYDEV and Wunderlich – dismantled a brand new BMW R1200R before using VR prototyping and precise 3D scans to remodel its components for maximum streamlining. From 3D-printed headlight elements to sensors and cameras displaying data onto the visor of a rider’s helmet, the Digimoto race bike offers a sleek vision of how the automotive industry could evolve in future.
