The adidas Adizero Avanti PRIME Gets a Push With BOOST Technology
This is the first time a BOOST sole has been incorporated in a running spike.
adidas has introduced a revamped Adizero Avanti PRIME, now decked out with BOOST technology. The development of the shoe began right after the London Olympics, and was focused around creating a lightweight, comfortable and breathable running spike. By implementing the BOOST sole with spikes for enhanced grip during long distance running, the shoe has temperature consistency making it favorable against traditional EVA soles. With a unique 4-pin design, the spikes are placed in areas where tractive force is needed, with the thinnest plates adidas has ever created. The shoe’s upper is an engineered 3D mesh with “zoning” areas that offer maximum support and breathability.
