A First Look at the adidas NMD_PARTY Space in Paris
Featuring a wall of sound, and the rave of the future.
Since earlier this year, adidas has been hosting a series of future-themed parties in major cities around the world, including the “Future Capsule” art exhibit in New York this past March which fused art and tech. The next event in line with the theme is set to take place tonight at La Friche de La Villette in Paris. Upon entering the space, fans travel through a tunnel of light installations towards the “Hypercube” — an interpretation by design agency 1024 of what the ultimate rave of the future will look like. In the next room is an audio/visual immersive display using a sound wall to showcase the recent R1 Reflective, Color Boost and XR1 NMD packs to drop. Not far from that, fans can enter a mirrored room to experience five monumental music pieces of the past visualized into graphics.
