The Swoosh Honors American Olympian Michael Johnson With the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33 LE
Paying homage to a great track athlete.

It’s been 20 years since Michael Johnson took the Olympic track by storm. Honoring his successes as an American Olympian, Nike has cooked up a special Air Zoom Pegasus 33 LE silhouette to commemorate his amazing performances. The iconic track athlete was also known for wearing gold-toned shoes during the 1996 Atlanta Olypmics, and was aptly named ”The Man With The Golden Shoes.” With that also came the glory as he captured the 400m Olympic title with an Olympic Record time of 43.49 seconds.
For these celebratory kicks, we see a different color twist as the left and right uppers sport navy and burgundy respectively. Additional details are included within its gold Swoosh on both lateral and medial sides, along with Johnson’s signature on the sockliner.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 33 LE will officially release on August 17 for a price of $120 USD at select Nike retailers and online.
