Images from the publication confirmed news that Kanye had indeed written a McDonald’s-themed piece, stirring a wave of reactions including a set of illustrations by Dami Lee of The Verge. With Frank Ocean frenzy in full effect, Hot 97 personality Megan Ryte added to the buzz by enlisting Joey Bada$$ for a reading of the poem. Watch the rapper give the poem a spoken word rendition, labeling it a “classic” and “Shakespearean.”
