It doesn’t matter if you are studying to be an illustrator, photographer, or a fashion designer — as an art student you need a studio space that is perfectly organized to allow you to get your work done. Your setup should allow room for you to spread out your creative materials, and be outfitted to handle the easels, mannequin forms, and cameras you’ll need to execute your projects and hit important deadlines. To keep your creative momentum going, you’ll also need to channel your inspiration with reference books and art. And, when you finally finish your masterpiece, you’ll need a spot to catch some shuteye.

In our last installment with IKEA, HYPEBEAST has outfitted a workspace for the aspiring creative director. The room revolves around the LINNMON table where you can hone your ideas. To the studio space right, you can start converting ideas into reality, while to the left, KALLAX shelves house your reference library and provide a pop of color to liven up your work area. Finally, a contemporary MALM bed rounds out your studio ensuring that you can move from work to sleep with minimal effort. Accent lamps, a clock, and a couple of plants for an organic feel complete the scene.

Take a look at the video above and visit the IKEA website to find your own art studio inspiration. Check out the list of products used in the video, below, and let us know what you think in the comments.
