Coming off of several high-profile streetwear collaborations during the past few seasons with brands like Supreme and Concepts, ’47 is back again with a new capsule collection — this time merging its heritage in sportswear with contemporary artists from around the world. ’47’s Global Artist Project was created in response to growing MLB popularity worldwide and tapped international talent to reinterpret the look of American teams on apparel, pennants and of course, headwear. Each of the chosen six artists reworked one team’s gear with their own unique touch to create an exciting collaboration between the sport and art industries.
