Elon Musk recently unveiled “Part Deux” of his Tesla Master Plan. In it, he detailed Tesla’s intention of expanding into buses and trucks. Well, that might become a reality much sooner than we anticipated. Musk has confirmed that a Tesla Minibus is on its way, and that it will be built on top of the Model X chassis with a release date of next year. Not only that, but the minibus will be inspired by Volkswagen’s much-loved minibus, one that hasn’t been in production for years. What might it look like? Well Jalopnik has provided an interesting render, but we’ll have to wait and see for the Tesla Minibus is officially unveiled.
