Out of all the espionage movies in existence, Jason Bourne may possibly be one of the most notable fictional spies — besides James Bond of course. Based on the original character by Robert Ludlum, the screen-adapted Bourne films have pushed the limit on the speed and pace a viewer can handle in action films. Many movies have since attempted to emulate the style of Paul Greengrass, a few examples include Taken, and Fast and the Furious, however the quickly cut shaky shots have become a crutch for the action genre.
