Did they miss any characters?
During the marketing for The Hateful Eight, Quentin Tarantino was extremely vocal about his Marvel Comics fandom. Many people forget that he was even considered to direct the 2008 Iron Man movie, the film that ultimately set the tone for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe to follow. But the most documented fact surrounding Tarantino and love for comic books are the long-forgotten plans for a mid-’90s movie based on the popular comic, Heroes for Hire. The main hero being Luke Cage, whose upcoming small-screen debut has only been made possible through the introduction of Netflix’s Daredevil.
But what would happen if Tarantino were to take some of his most notorious characters from his shared universe and assemble a team of unlikely heroes? Julian Higgins recently created an over-the-top trailer that follows the formula of vintage adverts we saw for his collaborative project with Robert Rodriguez, Grindhouse: Double Feature. Check out the trailer and let us know below if they missed any notable Tarantino characters.
