Wale & VILLA Unveil a Wrestling-Inspired ASICS GEL-Lyte III

Wale joins forces with premier sneaker destination VILLA for another eye-catching colorway of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III. A follow-up to their Independence Day-themed release from 2015, the “IC Champion” is a reflection of the rapper’s love for the WWE, who’s prestigious Intercontinental Championship belt provides inspiration for this unique release. Joining the predominantly black and gold color scheme are touches of light blue throughout, which add some flair along the outsole, heel counter and inner lining. Speckled detailing across the shoe’s midsole finishes off the design. You can purchase the limited edition release for $160 USD starting July 21.
