The Converse "Star and Bars" Returns to Japan
Part of an ongoing thirst for archival re-releases.

It’s been a year of retro re-releases from Converse, with the 1990 One Star seeing a comeback, followed now by the “Star and Bars” which will be making its way to Japan. It seems the re-release of these silhouettes is to meet an ever-growing demand for archival models, happening across the country this season. Going on sale in original green, orange, and blue suede hues with cream-colored branding and a matching outsole, the shoes are expected to hit select Japanese retailers for approximately for ¥14,000 ($130 USD).
