Rae Sremmurd Stars in PUMA's Newest Campaign
Reviving the retro PUMA Suede.

Along with Kardashian member Kylie Jenner, Rae Sremmurd has been tapped to be the newest ambassadors for PUMA. In the brand’s latest campaign, brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi evoke the New York hip-hop scene during the ’80s when boomboxes, coordinated track suits and Kangol hats were all the rage. The images show the duo sporting classic PUMA Suedes which were originally birthed as basketball warm-up shoes in the ’60s, but later popularized by b-boys and hip-hop artists. Complete with a backdrop of brownstone buildings and a vintage Cadillac, take a look at the nostalgia-inspired photos above which were shot by notable NYC photographer Jamel Shabbaz.
