A batch of young models clad as radiant concertgoers trotted on the runway for Palm Angels‘ 2017 spring/summer collection. Creative director Francesco Ragazzi pulled inspiration from a single photo featured on his Rizzoli photography book that highlighted California skate culture. The photo portrayed “a skater guy that reminded me of Jimi Hendrix,” said Ragazzi. Having added: “What’s the modern festival today? Glastonbury, Coachella…I tried to start out with the idea of kids leaving school and heading to a concert.”

The Italy-based unisex brand presented a hybrid assortment of “athleisure” and dapper apparel with pieces such as tracksuits, boiler suits and fur jackets. Garments that protrude from the bunch involved a camo jacket emblazoned with Kama Sutra horoscope patches, a tiger-striped blazer and a pair of floral shorts. Pore over the photos above and visit Palm Angels’ official website to learn more when the collection will drop.
