Needles Unveils an Eclectic Collection for the 2016 Fall Season
Bridging the gap between sportswear, heritage workwear, formalwear and military-inspired garments.
The brainchild of streetwear pioneer Keizo Shimizu, Needles has recently unveiled its 2016 fall collection. Offering an artistic take on layering and overall styling, the seasonal range showcases a variety of textiles such as leather, denim, corduroy and knitwear that have been expressed through various statement pieces. Mixing in a breadth of different genres, the collection sees elements of sportswear, heritage workwear, formalwear and military wear intertwine with one another — often in the same ensemble. Standout items in the collection include the denim kimono, the hybrid overcoat which features block patterns of Harris tweed, not to mention the tasseled poncho throw-over.
