Orley Revisits the Vintage Styling of the '70s for Its 2017 Spring Collection
A nostalgic nod to the past.
Orley recently unveiled its Spring 2017 lookbook collection and with but a quick glance at the offerings, it becomes evident that the New York-based brand turned to the past in creating this retro-inspired range. Leaning heavily on patterned print work, various forms of stripes, checks and psychedelic swirls land on an assortment of collared tops, both in button-down and zipped varieties. In keeping to a seasonal-friendly tonal palette, Orley keeps the setting light using subtle shades of blue, green, red, and brown. A standout look from the collection is presented in the embroidered zipped blue Harrington-style jacket, charcoal-hued trousers and black derby ensemble.
