Nike Commemorates Ken Griffey Jr.'s First Ballot Hall-of-Fame Induction
A crisp and clean rendition of the Air Griffey Max 1.

Ken Griffey Jr. will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on July 24. Griffey was named on 437 of 440 possible ballots, earning him a record 99.32% of the vote. The legendary slugger will also receive a crisp, triple-white reworking of the iconic Nike Air Griffey Max 1 sneaker, complete with gold swoosh livery on the heel, visible Air units, and a commemorative ‘24ever’ insole.
The retro sneakers have popped up here and there for $150 USD retail, but the shoes should be receiving wider release on Nike’s SNKRS app sometime before the induction ceremony.
