Kim Kardashian West Graces the Cover of 'Forbes Magazine' July 2016 Issue

There is perhaps no celebrity that can fully monetize his or her popularity than Kim Kardashian West. Forbes Magazine recently unveiled the cover of its 2016 July Issue which features the ubiquitous mug of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. And why is a reality TV personality on the cover of an iconic American business magazine? Mrs. West’s mobile app, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, has generated a total revenue of $160 million USD and has been downloaded over 45 million times since it launched in June 2014. The 35-year-old mobile mogul also snagged the No. 42 spot on Forbes’s Celebrity 100 list—having earned $51 million this year (40 percent came from the app alone).

“I became really intrigued with the tech world,” Kardashian told Forbes. “I started spending a lot of time in San Francisco. I realized this is really going to be the next cycle of my career and this is what I want to focus on.” Take a look at the cover below.
