Rick Owens Experiments With Draping Styles for 2017 Spring/Summer Collection
An assemblage of loose-fitting trousers and svelte-cut tops.
Rick Owens recently showcased its 2017 spring/summer men’s capsule hailed “Walrus.” The American fashion designer decided to accentuate the physicality of his models with loose-flowing yet narrowly tailored ensembles. This season’s silhouettes included slim-fit tops, showy yellow jerseys and flowing trousers that scour the runway in Paris. The collection also features a leather jacket with extra long sleeves and adidas sneakers with white outsoles. As a whole, Owens seemingly wants to recall the fashion industry’s wig-wagging nature of where it wants to take clothing design in “Walrus.”
