In the latest installment of Union LA’s Superdopehypeincredible video series, Roy Choi, aka “Papi,” cruises the streets of Los Angeles making pit stops at a few of his famed eateries. Trekking on to A-Frame and Kogi, Roy candidly references his rough and tumble upbringing, touching upon some rather sensitive subjects including drug and alcohol addiction. Considered by many as the “Godfather” of modern day street food, Choi, in many eyes, embodies a set of laudable characteristics vital to any inner city neighborhood.
