Meet the Peacocks of Pitti Uomo
A new mockumentary pokes fun at menswear’s ostentatious elite.
Every year, thousands of menswear’s finest-dressed flock to Florence for Pitti Uomo. The biannual menswear trade show floods the Florentine streets with elaborately and extravagantly dressed men, all of whom are jostling for the attention of streetstyle photographers. To celebrate the start of Pitti Immagine, Filmmaker Aaron Christian documented this phenomenon and added a Planet Earth-style voiceover that compares the plumage and behaviors exhibited at Pitti to those found in nature: peacocks, to be specific.
