Off-White™ Teams up With Moncler for 2017 Fall/Winter "Moncler O" Collection
Clothing is a powerful tool for storytelling.

Moncler has tapped Virgil Abloh and his OFF-WHITE label to launch a men’s collection for the fall. Entitled “Moncler O,” the range is inspired by fishermen in the Northern seas. It will feature anoraks with multiple pockets that resemble traditional wax jackets, and a variety of references to British Navy uniforms such as oversized pants constructed from waterproof double cotton. Additionally, the collection will boast padded jackets with detachable hoods, vests which derive from the cuts of life jackets and lightweight parkas. These pieces will boast patterns inspired by stormy skies, and of course, OFF-WHITE’s signature stripes, while Moncler’s iconic logo will appear in bright yellow. “Moncler is a brand I admire for its history and what it represents in the myriad brands based in outerwear and fashion,” said Abloh, “My inspiration comes from storytelling. The chance to tell a story via individual pieces of clothing is a powerful tool I believe in.” Moncler O will retailer from $420 USD for a T-shirt to $3,000 USD for a parka. It will be unveiled in New York on July 12, and will hit stores in September.
