New Balance Taps Urban Research for a Blacked-Out CM620
The two follow up their HVL710 with a streamlined low-top.
After teaming up for a clean take on the HVL710, New Balance and Japanese retailer Urban Research are back at it, this time joining forces for a streamlined take on the CM620. Whereas the aforementioned high-top sneakerboot skewed towards modernity thanks to its use of New Balance’s VAZEE sole unit, the CM620 is decidedly retro. Opting for the tech and construction of the 1980 original, the shoe sports a blacked-out upper of mesh, suede, and leather while a contrasting white midsole and gum rubber outsole appear below. Finally, matching laces and co-branded footbeds complete the package.
An Urban Research Doors exclusive, the special edition CM620 will be available in-store and online beginning July 9.
