Someone Is Creating a Musical About Bill Murray & Wu-Tang Clan Taking Down Martin Shkreli
This is not a hoax.
In the most natural denouement to the furor surrounding “pharma bro” Martin Shkreli and his ransom placed on the Wu-Tang Clan’s one-off Once Upon a Time in Shaolin record, a theatrical musical is being written on the entire sordid drama. The creative work of Lauren Gundrum and Joel Esher, the musical will take inspiration from bogus leaked legal documents pertaining to the record as Bill Murray and the Wu-Tang Clan “legally plan and attempt to execute one (1) heist or caper to steal back Once Upon Upon A Time In Shaolin, which, if successful, would return all ownership rights to the seller.”
Set to debut at the Midtown International Theater Festival, Martin Shkreli’s Game: How Bill Murray Joined the Wu-Tang Clan is currently being crowdfunded on Indiegogo. Watch the trailer below.
