There's a Musical in the Works About the Wu-Tang Clan & Bill Murray Taking Down Martin Shkreli
The Wu-Tang Clan venture to steal ‘Once Upon A Time In Shaolin’ back from “pharma bro” Martin Shkreli.
In a very strange but fascinating turn of events, a theater piece about the two million dollar purchase of the Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin by infamous “pharma bro” Martin Shkreli is officially in the works. Written by Lauren Gundrum and Joel Esher, the epic new stage tale will draw inspiration from the bogus leaked documents that were supposedly a part of Shkreli’s contract with Wu-Tang, following the gang and the legendary Bill Murray as they ”legally plan and attempt to execute one (1) heist or caper to steal back Once Upon Upon A Time In Shaolin, which, if successful, would return all ownership rights to the seller.” Martin Shkreli’s Game: How Bill Murray Joined the Wu-Tang Clan will make its debut at the Midtown International Theater Festival. To make the musical an incredible reality, Gundrum and Esher have kicked off a crowdfunding campaign which has already generated $1,200 out of their $6,500 goal.
