Cleon Peterson Adds Chaos to Modernica's Daybed

Contemporary furniture studio Modernica has tapped LA-based artist Cleon Peterson to update its signature daybed. The simple design of Modernica’s V-Leg Case Study Daybed is brought to life with Peterson’s recognizable tumultuous aesthetic, exemplified through his sculptures and paintings. The bold graphics were inspired by the artist’s observation of the chaos and violence that exists today, hoping to serve as a mirror to modern society’s ills. In Peterson’s world where beauty is evoked through turmoil, the imagery is meant to incite positive change within the world.
The Cleon x Modernica Case Study Daybed will be available starting July 14 at the Modernica website or showroom.
