LSU freshman Ben Simmons is reportedly nearing a multi-year endorsement agreement with Nike, according to Yahoo’s The Vertical, beating out competing offers from adidas. The deal is reportedly one of the largest rookie deals ever offered by the Swoosh, but we’ll see how its figures compare to those of LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
It is also widely presumed that the Philadelphia 76ers — owners of the #1 draft pick — will sign Simmons at the NBA Draft on June 23.
