Designer Vladimir Karaleev conceives a brilliant range of outerwear for Fall/Winter 2016 with a focus on thick fleecy wools and large knit pieces rich with heavy textures. Here, turtleneck collars are layered under speckled wool tweed while familiar prints like woven houndstooth detail bomber jackets and overcoats silhouettes. The collection is rounded out by a neutral color palette of mixed grays and navy blues with black and cream, with hints of vibrant ochre yellow throughout. Constructed with Karaleev’s familiar approach of using mixed fabrics, the collection is a shining example of the Bulgarian fashion designer’s penchant for innovative shapes and contrasting materials.
