Dogs Will Serve You Beer at This London Pop-Up Bar
“Man’s best friend delivering one of man’s greatest achievements.”

Thanks to rising trends of animal cafes, a movement that originated in Japan, cat coffee shops and dog diners have been popping up all over the world for pet owners and animal lovers alike to enjoy. Now, French brewery Kronenbourg 1664 takes the phenomenon a step further with the world’s first-ever establishment staffed by dogs. Called “Kronenbourg Bar D’Alsace-tian,” the pop-up bar will be run by a team of ”professionally trained” German Shepherds (also known as Alsatians in Europe). Upon entering, patrons will be greeted with the bar’s team of canines, with miniature barrels carrying cold brews around their necks.
The pop-up launches May 6 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. in London. Tickets sold out in rapid time, but you can win tickets via Kronenbourg’s contest to grab a reservation, which will include two drinks and a bread and cheese platter. Would you go to a bar with canine servers?
