adidas Had Its Highest Grossing Quarter Ever
The Three Stripes are rising in ranks.

As previously reported, adidas sold a whopping 400,000 pairs of NMDs on its launch day, but that’s not the only good news for the Three Stripes. The German sportswear giant just had its highest grossing quarter ever, reporting a revenue of about $5.48 billion USD. That’s about a 17 percent jump from one year ago and accounts for a 22 percent currency-neutral increase. According to adidas’s CEO Herbert Hainer, “Strong double-digit growth in key markets and key categories underlines the broad-based momentum and the strong desirability of our brands and products around the globe. I am particularly pleased with our strong development in North America. This shows that our focus on this important market is paying off.”
This development may come as no surprise to many as adidas has surely risen in ranks recently. The Three Stripes had several of the most valuable sneakers in recent memory, from the range of Yeezys to NMDs and Ultra Boosts.
