Solebox x ASICS "Blue Carpenter Bee" Collaboration Is Finally Set to Release
It’s about time.
In the works since 2012 and then tucked away, Solebox and ASICS are sticking to the plan and finally releasing its “Blue Carpenter Bee” GEL-Lyte III. The eye-catching color scheme gains its inspiration from a species of blue bees that are native to Southeast Asia. Black nubuck material makes up the majority of the sneaker’s upper while its bright-blue coloring can be seen on its split tongue, inner lining and lace tips. Detailed branding can be seen throughout the shoe with alternate Solebox x ASICS branding on each respective heel in addition to bee artwork on its insoles and clear sole section on the heel. Solebox x ASICS’ “Blue Carpenter Bee” collaboration is schedule to drop on April 30 exclusively online.
