Compton Receives Its Own Nike Cortez Colorways
Two tonal renditions of the classic runner.
We’ve already seen Reebok pay homage to Compton with its collaboration with Kendrick Lamar. Now Nike has dropped two new colorways of the classic Cortez silhouette, a model that is commonly seen around Los Angeles and the city itself. Here we see the runner rendered in a tonal black and corresponding white colorway, both of which boast a simple nylon construction and suede paneling. The commemorative design is finished of with 1972 embroidery along the heel. Pick up this latest release at select Swoosh accounts including Oneness starting April 29.
