Members of notorious Los Angeles gangs, the Bloods and Crips, have come together to discuss the positive message spread by Kendrick Lamar’s groundbreaking collaboration with Reebok. The Compton-born rapper’s iteration of Reebok’s iconic Ventilator silhouette features contrasting red and blue detailing and is designed to promote harmony between the warring factions. The short film shared by Lamar this weekend features Jigga and G Weed, two elder members of the Bloods and Crips respectively, discussing their introduction to gang lifestyle and how they see the outspoken and forthright rapper as a positive force for good in his home city.
