Since established in 2013, HIDDEN CHARACTERS has been the best kept secret within the HYPEBEAST Forums — a platform where the brand found traction with others obsessed with anime, rap music and video games. Through years of direct communication with fans, the humble Midwest-based brand has been able to thrive on the internet. Its goals have been aimed at finding consumers who buy into their world and cop something each season to ”level-up” in hopes of achieving the “S-rank,” a term often used in video games to describe the highest achievement.
HIDDEN CHARACTERS unveils its 2016 spring/summer collection, ranging from 3M printed, two-tone Champion crewnecks to coaches jackets and graphic tees. The graphics this season pay homage to the deceptive tactical WWII unit “Ghost Army,” as well as Blue Note Records, a record label responsible for the jazz samples in rap music production.
