BRANDBLACK Goes All in With Innovative Fabrics for Its 2016 Spring/Summer "PRISM" Collection
A new collection and a new 1,100 square foot pop-up retail space.

As it establishes itself as one of the leading brands that straddle the line between performance sportswear and fashion, BRANDBLACK has offered a look at its latest set of men’s apparel. Titled “PRISM,” the lineup incorporates the definition of the world by utilizing the transparent optical element that refracts light, which was designed by Scott Nelson and Creative Director, Billy Dill. We find 15 pieces, which feature a number of materials that are extremely lightweight, while some are also transparent. Highlights include the featherweight shells constructed with Italian nylon, tech tops that use natural bamboo fibers, and the brand’s signature vintage, military-inspired silhouettes in breathatble stretch textiles. The brand also took this opportunity to announce a 1,100-square-foot pop-up retail space titled “Temporary Transmissions,” which will be open for two months and will carry both its current footwear, as well as apparel offerings. Check out the images above and make sure to head over to the pop-up project if you find yourself in Los Angeles.
