Harmony Paris takes its minimalist and architectural approach to design to a new Spring/Summer 2016 range that represents a sartorial embodiment of the movie adaptation of The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith as well as the 1960 Franco-Italian film Purple Noon that inspired the original book.
Soft natural colors like cream and beige are paired with black, gray, and navy hues while striped pieces represent outfits associated with wealthy world tourists of the ’50s. Pairing light crepe wool outerwear with silk and denim, the collection is also rich in textures. Portraying themes of freedom and travel from the movie characters, the collection comes carefully crafted and put together in a breezy summer presentation of Italian sprezzatura nonchalance.
